Joel Roth, 24, the up-and-coming mountain bike pro from Kölliken, faces a promising future. His ambitious goal for 2024 is to take part in the Olympic Games in Paris. The 2021/2022 U23 world champion rides for the Swiss BiXs Performance Race Team and is aiming to get closer to the top of the world.

Shortly before the generation change at RIBAG Licht AG, owner Andreas Richner himself was faced with the decision to devote himself entirely to top-level sport. Since taking over the company from his father, he has been strongly committed to promoting young talent. In the last four years, he has competed twice in the Cape Epic, the world's most demanding mountain bike race in South Africa, and knows how hard you have to fight for success. «Especially at a young age, the support of talents by sponsors is enormously important so that they can realize their full potential. Besides the intensive training, there is hardly any time to pursue a regular job. The ability to devote oneself entirely to top-level sport depends on financial support», Andreas Richner recounts from his own experience.
