After the reception and a first casual exchange with fine appetizers and jazz sounds, Andreas Richner invited to the panel discussion. Moderator Jenni Herren spoke with her guests about the exciting question "what means good light?". Other topics such as the latest lighting technologies, efficient lighting in the face of energy shortages, provided plenty of interesting topics for discussion. In addition to Andreas Richner, expert Andreas Danler from Bartenbach, lighting designer Luciana Alanis and specialist retailer André Bachmann also took part in the discussion.
The next item on the program was an entertaining, interactive tour with many exciting insights into the areas of innovation and technology. Different lighting scenes were installed throughout the building especially for this purpose. A special highlight was provided by stagings for the four seasons in each of the stairwells. Selected lamps, combined with ambient music and the use of a fog machine, spectacularly imitated spring, summer, fall and winter with their lighting effects. In this way, the perception and effect of light on people was made impressively tangible.
A great eye-catcher and the perfect illustration was also offered by the so-called "Tischlein deck dich". In a dignified ambience, the technical possibilities of lamps were demonstrated in a practical and understandable way. How precise is a cone of light; is the amount of scattered light large, and what about color rendering? All these questions were answered competently by the employees present.
To crown the day, the guests were invited to a delicious and festively decorated Tavolata. The table was accentuated and extremely attractively illuminated. Under the direction of Lucio Marelli, the jazz band 'The Slick Notes' once again provided the best entertainment. With their jazzy interpretations of musical world hits they delighted their audience.
After the main course, Andreas Richner presented the lucky winners of the quiz with vouchers from RIBAG. Those who wanted to end the evening on a leisurely note treated themselves to a last drink at the bar later on.
The two evening programs - on Wednesday for the Swiss dealers and on Thursday for the European dealers - were each followed by a product training session the next morning. The European guests also enjoyed an excursion to the Swiss mountains. But the weather shrouded the mountains in thick fog, which only gave a hint of the "essence of light".
Many thanks to all employees, who made this fantastic event an unforgettable experience with their great commitment and passion!
