At the newly opened health campus very close to the Ruhr University Bochum, GBTEC Software + Consulting AG has built a company headquarters characterised by clear, linear architecture that is transparent both in its interior and exterior. The construction and lighting concept carry on the language of architecture.
The lighting designer and client decided upon sampling using the new MESH LED pendant lamps. With its slender shape, the energy-optimised direct / indirect proportions (75% / 25%) and the high degree of lighting comfort (UGR <16) RIBAG was so convincing that RIBIAG lights were used for all other lighting solutions in the interior.
In larger areas the pendant lamp, which is suspended elegantly above the desks, was complemented by MESH ceiling mounted lamps, to ensure illumination in compliance with standards. In the leisure and informal meeting areas, the modular METRON LED ceiling mounted light meets the demands of linearity with its opal synthetic glass diffuser. Congruent with the edges of the room, the METRON strip lighting illuminates the entrances to the offices and ensures balanced general lighting. The straight line interior design of the rooms is purposely broken up with silk matt white round ARVA ceiling mounted lamps in the meeting areas, and these are arranged playfully in different sizes above the clusters of seats.
